Just after a mini furore was created as Fabregas admits to a Spanish paper just how much he would love to rejoin Barcelona at some point, another young gooner gets in the news but this time it is confirmation that his future is safe at Arsenal FC.

The player in question is Armand Traore who is currently on loan at UEFA cup team Portsmouth. The left back come Left winger was sent on loan by Wenger who thought he could learn more on loan rather than stay in the Arsenal reserves or on the bench.

Traore has impressed at Portsmouth and some gooners may have had a slight worry that he won’t come back and after seeing the sales of Diarra, Muamba, Hoyte, Larsson and Aliadiere recently who have been in the same kind of career position it would have been a valid worry.

However it has been put to rest today as Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has come out and admitted that he has no chance of being able to secure his services on a permanent basis.

“There is no chance of staying here, absolutely no chance”

“Arsenal would not sell him. Arsene Wenger let him come here to get experience and it’s been great for him. He’s only just turned 19. They’re not looking to sell him. That’s not even in our thoughts.”

So good news for Arsenal fans and with the immaculate Gael Clichy firmly cemented in the left back position it would seem that Traores future at Arsenal could be in the left wing position to battle it out with Nasri and maybe Rosicky if he ever comes back. Either way this is good news for the gunners and another great young player we do not have to worry about for a good time to come.
