GoonersWorld is delighted to announce the signing of Amaury Bischoff from Werder Bremen for a thus far undisclosed figure. On an announcement on Arsenal.com, he will be joining the team immediately after their Austrian tour, where Stuttgart are the opposition this evening.
The midfielder has long been tracked by Arsene Wenger, and could be the ideal replacement for the recently departed Alex Hleb, and can play either centrally or to the right of the midfield, although perhaps younger than Wenger would normally put into first team action. He has played at Bundesliga level, and also for Portugal at under 21 level.
Already, he has been assigned the Number 28 shirt, and taken part in a photo shoot parading his new shirt.
