GoonersWorld is pleased to announce that the French International Samir Nasri has signed a four year deal with Arsenal. The £15.8m deal has recently been announced on Skysports News, and is sure to delight Gunners supporters in a summer where transfer speculation promised little.
This is the second player to sign during the summer, following the capture of teenager Aaron Ramsey from Championship side Cardiff City, and may not be the last as Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger looks to improve on last season.
The 20 year old will join as an attacking midfielder, possibly replacing the recently departed Matty Flamini in the position.
Although the move has long been predicted, Arsenal can be only too delighted to officially announce the signing, and I expect that this will be unveiled tomorrow, or possibly this evening.
The question remains as to whether he will fill the vacant Number 8 shirt for the coming season, as previously announced here.
