Samir Nasri
Nasri is now half way through his first season with Arsenal and so far he has proved to be a fantastic signing for Arsenal. He has played most of the season out on the wing but when he has been given the chance to play in the centre of the park he has looked like a creative and dangerous player.
So this is everything you ever need to know about him.
Samir Nasri was born 26 June 1987 his parents are from Algeria but they moved to France before Nasri was born and he was born in Marseille.
Nasri’s first club was Marseille which he joined at the age of 9. He broke into the Marseille first team in the 2004/2005 season at the age of 17 playing 13 games and came on as a substitute in 11 games, scoring one goal.
The next season 2005/2006 he became a regular in the first team and gained his first European experience playing ten games in the UEFA cup.
On 20 May 2007, Samir Nasri was named French Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year ahead of Karim Benzema. He was also voted Marseilles player of the year by the fans.
For France he has progressed through the Under-16s, 17s, 18s, 19s and 21s and he was part of the team that won the 2004 UEFA U-17 Championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the final match .
Nasri broke into the France senior team in March 2007 against Austria, at the age of 19 and set up Karim Benzema to score the only goal of the match. He scored his first senior international goal in his third appearance for the senior team in a 1–0 win against Georgia on 6 June 2007 in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier.
Nasri signed for Arsenal on the 11 July 2008 for £12.7 million (€16m). He made his Arsenal debut on 30 July against VfB Stuttgart in a friendly.
He scored on his Premier League debut, against West Brom with a close range effort, after only four minutes of the first game of the season.
So there you go that’s how he got to where he is today and with Cesc out of the team for a while now it looks like Nasri will be more valuable than ever to Arsenal and while we all sometime question Wenger and his transfers or lack of them, Nasri is proof that Wenger can bring in the players Arsenal need.

he will get better and better. goals aside, my favourite moment was when he clipped Joey Barton’s heels, showing in a ruthless physical side very much in the mould of DB10. he also appears to be gelling well with RVP which is great to see.
He is our new Hleb, but he will actually shoot the ball when he gets the chance.
Samir was a great acquisition. He can play out on either wing and in an CAM mold. He’s got skill, passing range, excellent concentration, vision and penetrative power. He will come good and get even better as the team chemistry increases. Not to mention he actually shoots the ball when the chance is clear and beneficial to the team.
yes very realistic posting i cant wait to see the combination of RvP, C vela
whilsher n Nasri i bet this will be the unstopable lithal stricking force of the next season dream team
hes not quite there yet, would have been brilliant if we had signed him and also kept hleb, gonna be a great player tho clearly
so why the fuck doesnt he continue to bring in good players and release the likes of denilson and bendtner?
Nasri is the man!! Nice gound-up of the player!!
I think hleb was underrated by the arsenal fans, he may not of shot much but he frustrated teams with his dazzling dribbling skills, could get pass people regularly, worked hard and had a positive influence whenever he played last season, should of kept hleb and bought nasri
he is very good and a very fast player is isnt that strong must admit but good with his skills and shooting but he has got a potenshal and speed
hey nasi you may be young. but the guy has real potential . he is good at what he does, and he is going to get even better
