Nasri deal AFTER Euros now.
For weeks now we have all been awaiting the confirmation Samir Nasri, the Marseille star has signed for the Gunners. No such luck yet! A few weeks ago, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reported he wanted it wrapped up before the Euros.
It now seems there is a slight issue with the wages which has put a delay on the deal until after the Euros.
“Nasri, he interests me,” Wenger confirmed to a French reporter.
“I hope I will do it after the Euros.
“It is more complicated now because the wage differences [between the French and the English league] are not as big as they used to be.
“Just watch [Karim] Benzema. He is 20 and recently signed a new deal,” he added.
“It is very difficult [to transfer players from the French league] but England is considered one of the two top leagues and the best players want to play against the best players.”
Goodbye deal, awhole lot of Real Madrid’s, Manu’s etc will be after him and forget abt the 12.5 mil transfer, if he shine at Euro 08 might as well be 25 mil
